After Kadri's goal, there has been a lot of controversy and arguing for both sides of the equation, but surprisingly, Lightning defenceman Ryan McDonagh doesn't see an issue with the goal at all.
According to McDonagh, these plays happen every game and it's hard to call it frequently throughout a game.
Lightning's Ryan McDonagh says the too many men on the ice non-call is something that happens all the time. It's something that's hard to call and something players do often. Was not upset by the no-call. Part of the game. #Avs Summer of George (@GeorgeStoia) June 23, 2022
Here is the full quote he made:
If McDonagh is not upset about the non-call on the OT goal, no one else should be either. This veteran has been around awhile and has seen a lot of things in the league, it's not to see him step up and speak the truth.
