With the controversial goal last night in overtime the Colorado Avalanche have taken a 3-1 series lead over the Tampa Bay Lightning and could win the stanley cup at home this Friday when they play game 5.
After Kadri's goal, there has been a lot of controversy and arguing for both sides of the equation, but surprisingly, Lightning defenceman Ryan McDonagh doesn't see an issue with the goal at all.
According to McDonagh, these plays happen every game and it's hard to call it frequently throughout a game.
Here is the full quote he made:
If McDonagh is not upset about the non-call on the OT goal, no one else should be either. This veteran has been around awhile and has seen a lot of things in the league, it's not to see him step up and speak the truth.
