During the 2nd period of the Boston vs Carolina game, we had a very scary moment due to the penalty box attendant suffering what could be a serious injury.
The injury occurred after a fan was banging on the glass celebrating a goal, which knocked the panel out and onto the elderly penalty box attendant. The pane of glass appears to strike him in the head and neck area knocking him out.
A member of the Carolina Hurricanes' medical staff immediately sprinted across the ice to help the NHL Official, named Joe Foley. After being check up by the TD Gardens medical Staff Mr Foley was taken to a medical facility.
As for the game the Boston Bruins would defeat the Hurricanes 4-2 game 4 goes Sunday night in Boston Hurricanes lead the series 2-1.
