By now everyone has seen the hit by Jacob Trouba on Jujhar Khaira and even the next morning it's still very difficult to watch. According to Blackhawks medical staff Khaira is expected to make a full recovery, but no timeline has been given for his eventual return. With his history of concussions it's likely his return will take some time.
Today the NHL Department of Player Safety provided their decision that Jacob Trouba will not be receiving a hearing for what the league determined to be a legal hit.
