It appears Houston may not have a problem because Rick Westhead tweeted this morning that according to a source at Forbes the NHL's Arizona Coyotes are for sale with plans to move the team to the Houston area.
Moving the Coyotes who are without a home beyond this season would be an extremely smart move, especially by moving the team to a very profitable market like Houston which would immediately help the NHL be far more profitable and make the location very appealing to NHL players. In the past few years NHL players have avoided signing in Arizona due to a lack of winning and reports of players not being paid bonuses on time.
This is a developing story and would be a great move by the NHL.
