Patrik Laine gives a hilarious response when asked if he meant to make a play

Patrik Laine was drafted 2nd overall in the 2016 draft right after Auston Matthews. In his rookie campaign Laine scored 36 goals in 73 games. He then followed that season up with 44 goals in 82 games. Having a similar playing style to the great Alexander Ovechkin, Patrik Laine was thought to be the next great NHL goal scorer.
But some falling outs with the team in Winnipeg then being traded to Columbus to play with John Tortorella, Laine has just never gotten back to that 44 goal season.
This season though we are seeing a bounce-back from Laine who currently has 25 goals in 48 games, which would put him on pace for 42 goals over 82 games, which is great for a middle of the pack Columbus Blue Jackets team.
Last night Vladislav Gabrikov scored a goal off of a Patrik Laine rebound, and when Laine was asked if he meant to do that, he gives this hilarious response:
