Whenever the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins meet there is always fireworks. Last night was no different as during the second period Ilya Lyubushkin laid a huge hit into Taylor Hall who was not happy with it and got up and retaliated by punching an unsuspecting Lyubushkin from behind.
Hall was given a 2 minute penalty for the play and Lyubushkin left the game injured and has not returned.
We just learned that Hall has been fined $5,000 which is the maximum allowed under the CBA.
