Referee's Arm Broken in Shocking On-Ice Incident Involving Player

In Sweden, a highly unusual incident unfolded during a recent game.

A player hit a referee and the official broke his arm on the play!

Player Who Injured Referee's Arm Receives Pre-Hearing Sanctions

Casper Gillberg, the player at the center of this major incident, has been suspended until his hearing.

Gillberg suspended 9 games earlier in the season for an illegal check to the head.
