There are quite a few star players on the trading block this year, but the biggest name on the defensive end is Arizona Coyotes Jakob Chychrun.
Chychrun was drafted by the Coyotes 16th overall back in 2016, and at the age of 24 he is ready to break out as a true top pair defenceman on a cup calibre team.
Chychrun his half way through his 7th season in the National Hockey League and up to this point he has only seen the playoffs once. That coming in a year where the Coyotes won the bubble play in round, or else they would be missed yet again.
On many occasions he has openly expressed his interest to move to a cup calibre team, and the Coyotes have agreed to make a trade when the right return came along. During this whole season, Chychrun has proudly displayed that he is #6 for the Arizona Coyotes, but that has now been taken down.
With All-Star weekend going on, this has definitely free'd up some time for General Managers to do some negotiating, maybe we see Chychrun officially traded before the season resumes?
