Yesterday it was announced that a former NHL All-star and legendary broadcast announcer for the Colorado Avalanche had passed away.
The Altitude and KSE family made for unfortunate announcement that Peter McNab had passed away.
The Altitude and KSE family are saddened to announce the passing of our friend, Peter McNab. Our hearts go out to his family and friends, and the McNab family asks for privacy during this unimaginably difficult time.
In 2021, it was announced that McNab had cancer, but in February of this year he was in remission. McNab was a warrior and loved what he did, he continued his role with the Avalanche while doing chemotherapy.
McNab was a Buffalo Sabres draft pick back in 1972 and would suit up for 4 different teams over his career, racking up 813 points in 955 games, even making an All-star appearance in the 1977 games.
We lost another member of our hockey family yesterday, we just want to offer our sincerest condolences to his friends and family.
