REPORT: Patrick Kane Already Knows Which Team He Will Sign With
Patrick Kane has reportedly already decided on who his next team will be.
Kane Has Made A Decision
Patrick Kane is the number one free agent on the market at the moment. He is in a position where he is able to sign wherever he pleases when he feels like signing but he has held off thus far.
Eklund of HockeyBuzz.com has offered some insight into the situation after a conversation he had with one of Kane's good friends.
«He will play for a contender. He already knows the team too.»
While we don't know who this is yet, we do know that Kane is going to offer an offensive boost to whomever this is.
When Kane Will Sign
Kane and his agent have made it clear that he will not sign till he is ready to play. He is currently recovering from hip surgery which will hopefully fix an issue that has been nagging him over the past couple of years.
Even with his injury, he has scored 149 points over the past 151 games which is an elite pace. Assuming he is able to come back to full health, he could potentially become a 100-point player once again.
We will now have to wait and see where Kane signs.
