Saturday Night Fight Card

After Justin Holl stepped up on Tim Stutzle, Scott Sabourin decided to drop the gloves with his former teammate. Sabourin easily handled the over matched Holl. Holl received a 5 minute major for fighting while Sabourin was issued 5 minutes for fighting, 2 minutes for instigating and a 10 minute misconduct.

The Leafs scored on the following powerplay to take a 1-0 lead in the 1st period.

Halfway through the 3rd period Wayne Simmonds decided to make Scott Sabourin face off against someone in his own weight class. After a few shots Simmonds and Sabourin fell the ice giving Simmonds the nod in the tilt.

Simmonds and Sabourin both received 5 minute majors for fighting and Sabourin finished his night with 5 minutes of TOI and 22 PIM.

Duhaime challenged Stillman to a fight after Stillman delivered a hit to Nico Sturm. Unfortunately the linesmen jump in a little early and Stillman catches Duhaime with a late shot. Both players are issued 5 minute fighting majors on the play.
