Last night during a game between the Abbotsford Canucks and Bakersfield Condors, Canucks' prospect Jack Rathbone was sent hard into the end boards. Rathbone awkwardly crashed to the ice and was immediately motionless.
According to those in attendance Rathbone laid motionless for over 10 minutes.
Rathbone was eventually taken from the ice on a stretcher, at which point both teams left their benches to salute Rathbone.
Unfortunately though Rathbone did not salute the crowd with a thumbs up and remained motionless the entire time while on the stretcher. This could be precautionary, but we have no update at this time about his condition.
