Star Goalie Out For Weeks Following Gruesome Injury
Philadelphia Flyers' goalie Hart out for weeks with injury
Carter Hart suffered a mid-body injury during the Flyers' game against the Buffalo Sabres which they lost 5-2. Hart had let in two goals on five shots before he left the game.
The team hopes that the injury isn't so serious and would only require him to be out for 2-3 weeks as opposed to 4-6 weeks.
This injury comes at an unfortunate time for Hart and the Flyers. He was having a great start to the season and the team was playing good hockey.
Petersen to be called up
The Flyers are expected to call up veteran Cal Petersen from the AHL to play in the NHL alongside Samuel Ersson. Petersen has a 1-3-0 record in the AHL this year along with a 3.76 GAA and .884 SV%.
