The Toronto Maple Leafs are having a tremendous season in the Atlantic division. The players are happy and Leafs nation is happy as they hope to clinch their ticket to the Stanley cup playoffs.
Though there is not much concern that the Leafs will not make it, there's still a tiny chance the Leafs could slip. So here's 3 ways the Toronto Maple Leafs can clinch their ticket to the Stanley Cup playoffs tonight.
#1 the first choice is most obvious, beat the Montreal Canadiens. Though the Canadiens are 31st in the NHL this season, the Habs always play hard against the Leafs and have beat the Leafs already this season including their last game in Montreal.
#2 Get some help from the St Louis Blues, if the Blues can defeat the New York Islanders tonight and Leafs make it to overtime, they clinch.
#3 If the St Louis Blues can even just beat the New York Islanders in regulation the Islanders will be eliminated from playoff contention thus giving their ticket to the playoffs.
