Just this morning, Toronto Maple Leafs General Manager Kyle Dubas made an announcement about former first round pick in the 2020 draft, Rodion Amirov.
"I regret to inform our fans that Rodion Amirov has been diagnosed with a brain tumour.
We just wanted to say that we all here at House of Hockey are praying for a quick and healthy recovery for Amirov. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
