A heated post-game brawl erupted in the Ontario Hockey League on Friday night, after a matchup between the Erie Otters and Kitchener Rangers.
The Rangers edged out the Otters 3-1, but things finally boiled over just after the final buzzer, when tempers flared at center ice. The teams traded cheap shots to turn the rivalry into a free-for-all battle, where sticks were flying between players.
The trouble began with stick slashes exchanged between the two sides that escalated into a full-blown altercation after 18-year-old Rangers forward Luke Ellinas took a sucker punch.

Their behavior was perceived as poor sportsmanship on the part of the Otters, especially since they had lost multiple times to the Rangers this season, further deteriorating the situation.
While it's normal to see players fight each other during games, it becomes more questionable when it happens after a game has ended, as it tends to show poor sportsmanship on the losing team's side.
Although the brawl did not get out of control, even though the emotions were high, punches were thrown, but only two actually had a real fight.
Ottawa Senators prospect Matthew Andonovski was one of them, dropping the gloves for his third fighting major of the season.
People will be eagerly awaiting the next matchup between these two teams to see if tempers boil over and whether we will see another brawl or not.
