The Toronto Maple Leafs are in the middle of a road trip through western Canada. Tonight as they visited the Vancouver Canucks, Tyler Myers made his presence known with a massive hit on Calle Jarnkrok.

The Leafs forward will think twice before getting too close to Tyler Myers now after the Canucks defenseman laid him out early in the game tonight. He had no help from the players on the bench as he was shoved into the Canucks bench by Myers.

The Leafs forward got an elevated role in the game as he was placed on a line with Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner to start the game.

Jarnkrok has 10 goals and 19 points in 44 games so far this season with the Leafs. he has averaged a little under 16 minutes of ice time per game.
