The Swift Current Broncos of the Western Hockey League handed down an indefinite suspension to head coach Devan Praught earlier this week for an incident that occurred during a practice.

At the time of the announcement, the club did not provide any additional details as to what occurred, but a couple of days following the suspension, World Hockey Report posted on X, formerly Twitter, a video from the practice and some feel the team overreacted.
In the video, Praught aggressively skates towards the bench where he looks to be in a heated discussion with a player before he chops his own stick down on the player's stick.
The 36-year-old became the team's head coach last season after filling in as interim coach.
Praught will remain suspended while the team conducts a full review of the matter, though no timetable was given as to how long that could take.
