Khusnutdinov was the 37th overall pick in the 2020 NHL draft and has had a roller-coaster career thus far. In 2022-23 he produced 41points in 63 games with SKA but this year on a more depleted Sochi roster he only managed 20 in 49 games.
He is a Minnesota Wild prospect and likely could make the jump to the NHL as soon as the end of this season.
