Famous for his unique personality and candidness, Artemi Panarin recently grabbed attention by shaving off his curly locks. He has now revealed the peculiar reason behind this decision.
Panarin Shaves Head to Ward Off Negativity
Following the Rangers' disappointing first-round loss, Panarin evidently felt the need to reassess things.
In his homeland of Russia, he must tread carefully due to political tensions, given his outspoken criticism of Vladimir Putin.
To alleviate some of this tension, he decided to shave his head and part ways with his characteristic curls. The reason, as he explained, is rather unsettling.
Rangers forward Artemi Panarin had his head shaved bald recently due to extreme evil & negative energy' that was in his hair, according to those close to him.
Panarin decided to make the change after the Rangers were eliminated in round one, as he wants to enter a new era in his quest for a Stanley Cup.

The 'extreme evil and negative energy' he referred to might be a reference to several factors, possibly including the situation in Russia. Despite his new look, fans hope Panarin, who draws the third highest salary in the league, continues to perform as the stellar player he is known to be.
