Arizona Coyotes Officially Up for Sale Ahead of Relocation
The Arizona Coyotes have been struggling as a franchise for a while, they had difficulty finding a home arena, finally settling on sharing a home arena with the Arizona Sun Devils, the arena seats 5000 people, which is quite pathetic compared to other NHL home arenas.
Their on ice performance has not been too impressive either, they are currently sitting second to last in the Central Conference, they have only won 35 games out of 75, which is not impressive.
Fans have been wondering if Alex Meruelo, the current owner of the Arizona Coyotes, would sell the team in the future, it seems fans finally have an answer. Alex Meruelo is officially looking for buyers for the team.
Puckempire reported that
#Coyotes owner Alex Meruelo has sought out potential buyers for the team.
Meruelo and the team are still focused on the land auction and winning the bid and to keep the franchise in Arizona.
It is currently unknown if any buyers have approached Meruelo with any offers, more updates to come.
