Shaquille O'Neal, the retired NBA star, is regarded by many as the greatest of all time, and has even been honoured by one of his former teams, the Los Angeles Lakers, who retired his number, 34, back in 2013. He has achieved many accomplishments throughout his career and is considered by many to be a good authority on the topic of professional basketball.
Shaq has been quite busy since his retirement from the NBA in 2011. He famously appears in many commercials and is not shy to appear on broadcast television. He also hosts a podcast, called The Big Podcast with Shaq. On a recent episode of The Big Podcast, the topic of this year's NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament was brought up.
Shaq was not shy to openly support the tournament, and women's basketball, unlike Bobby Ryan, who recently made and defended several rude comments regarding the tournament, and women's sports in general.

Perhaps Bobby Ryan can learn a lesson from Shaq, instead of wasting his time trashing the sport, he can actually watch and see why Shaq is praising women's basketball.
