Buffalo fires head coach Don Granato after final game of the year
In breaking news this morning, the Buffalo Sabres have just fired their Head Coach Don Granato after a failure to make the postseason this year.
The Buffalo Sabres had another disappointing season this year, failing to make the playoffs and going 39-37-6. While they finished above .500, this was not good enough to make the playoffs, and they are making moves because of that.
They have announced today that they will be firing Head Coach Don Granato. The announcement comes one day after the Sabres finished their final game.

The Sabres also announced that they have fired their Assistant Coach Jason Christie and their video coach Matt Smith.
Hopefully, they will bring in a big-time Head Coach to try and turn the tables on the Sabres fate for next season.
