It was a scary scene at the Chicago Blackhawks practice earlier today after a shot from Connor Bedard went up high and hit a teammate in the face.
Bedard Accidentally Injures Crevier
Earlier today during Blackhawks practice, Connor Bedard rifled a shot that took a deflection and hit teammate Louis Crevier in the face.
Bedard shot just deflected up and hit Crevier in the mouth. Crevier went straight to the locker room.
Blackhawks head coach Luke Richardson later confirmed that Crevier would be alright.
Richardson said Crevier went to the dentist after this, but he'll be fine other than some soreness eating tonight.
Crevier is in his rookie year with the Blackhawks and has produced three points in 20 games as a depth defenseman for the Blackhawks. The Quebec native is 6'8" and was originally a 7th-round draft pick of the Blackhawks in 2020.
