The Chicago Blackhawks have a very bright future, but their pre-season hasn't been going well, and this latest goal is a perfect example of that.

This pre-season has been one of the worst in recent memory for the Chicago Blackhawks, as the team is yet to pick up a victory despite some solid additions to their roster over the summer. Sure, the results don't mean anything, but performances certainly do, and thus far the team has not put together a performance to be proud of.

Things got worse however in their latest game against the Minnesota Wild, with the team falling short once more, but it was an embarrassing goal allowed by Petr Mrazek that is doing the rounds on social media.

After just allowing a goal, a mere four seconds later, the veteran goaltender let one in from center ice, and while it's unclear why the misplay happened, it's a dreadful look for Mrazek and the Blackhawks. There was nothing to the shot, as it was a simple dump-in from the Wild, but after misplaying the puck, Mrazek was clearly embarrassed, with few goaltenders letting in goals like this at the NHL level.

With no clear top goaltending prospect emerging, this is the type of play that Chicago will likely get all season long, and after letting in one of the worst goals in recent memory in the pre-season, it's safe to say that beyond Connor Bedard, this could be another bad season for the Blackhawks.
