It was well known coming into the season that the Chicago Blackhawks would struggle with a lack of talent around top star Connor Bedard, but the team sit in 31st place in the NHL after their latest defeat, with frustrations in the organization seemingly growing.
One member of the team that has been outspoken regarding his desire to leave in recent times has been Seth Jones, who recently revealed that he is working with the team on a potential trade given that they are nowhere near turning things around at this point in time.
The speculation over his departure has only increased after their latest 2-1 defeat to the Utah Hockey Club, with Jones delivering a very disheartened interview, with the veteran blue liner seemingly checked out after a poor season.
Jones was the lone goal scorer in the game for Chicago, and it's clear that they just don't have the talent to compete or even the semblance of a plan in place to turn things around, with fans simply feeling sorry for some of the veterans on the team by now.
Unsurprisingly, fans have continued to state that this is why teams shouldn't do a full tank and try rebuild things from the ground up, as it could lead to their biggest star becoming equally as frustrated and requesting out, so while it's just Jones for now, you can bet that there are plenty of players in the locker room who feel this way too, with the Blackhawks needing to change things up in a big way this summer.
