The Chicago Blackhawks veteran defenseman Seth Jones called out his team after their second loss of the season.

This summer, the Blackhawks made significant additions to their roster. They wanted to surround Bedard with great players and didn't disappoint, with Teuvo Teravainen, Tyler Bertuzzi, Ilya Mikheyev, and Alec Martinez.

Unfortunately, their season hasn't started like they hoped it would. In their first two games, they failed to win a single game, losing 5-2 against the Utah HC on Tuesday, and 2-1 against the Winnipeg Jets last night in overtime.

Last night's loss was especially hard for the players. Seth Jones, the Blackhawks' veteran defenseman called out his teammates in his post-game press conference.

Jones wasn't happy because the Hawks let the Jets score at the last minute of the game to tie it at one and force overtime. Mark Scheifele scored with just a minute left and also scored the game-winning goal in overtime, the 300th goal of his career.

Watch both goals here:

Jones summarized the situation well, saying they played a good game for 59 minutes, which isn't enough to win in the NHL.

The Hawks' star defenseman was on the ice during Scheifele's first goal. He was surely as shocked by his performances as by those of his teammates.

A good veteran and leader has to push his teammates to be better. Jones is doing so by using his voice, something that should be good for the young players' development in the long run.

Chicago will be back on the ice tonight to face the Edmonton Oilers. A confrontation between Connor McDavid and Connor Bedard shouldn't disappoint, so make sure to stay tuned as we get closer to puck drop!
