After a stellar career, the NHL world has now been rocked with the announcement that Zach Parise has officially decided to retire from the top level of hockey.
2023-24 to be the last season of Zach Parise's career
After an NHL career that has spanned 1229 games, Zach Parise, who is now with the Colorado Avalanche has officially decided to hang up the skates.
Zach Parise confirms this will be his last NHL season
The 39-year old has been in the NHL since the 2005-06 season, playing for the Devils, Wild, Islanders and now Avalanche over that time, and after almost 20 years, this season will be his final one.
In those 1229 games, Parise has put together a fantastic career, notching 430 goals and 880 points over that time, and while he's never been one of the top players in the NHL, he's as respected as anyone in the league, and we wish him well in his final season in the NHL.
