BREAKING: Colorado Avalanche Lose Crucial Forward for the Season
It is a good thing the Avalanche went on a shopping spree during the NHL trade deadline trading for depth because they have just received awful news regarding one of their forwards.
It was announced today that Logan O'Connor has been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to a hip injury in a post by the Avalanche.
Per head coach Jared Bednar, forward Logan O'Connor will have season-ending hip surgery.
O'Connor will also be out for the postseason, a tough blow for the contending Avalanche.
The 27 year old forward has 25 points in 57 games this season, and is a crucial piece to their penalty kill thanks to his stellar defensive play.
