BREAKING: Top Blue Jackets Prospect Suspended After Very Serious Legal Incident
The Columbus Blue Jackets have one of the better prospect pools in the NHL but today it took a hit as one of the team's top prospects has reportedly gotten himself into some serious legal trouble.
Dumais Suspended By QMJHL Following DUI
Records show that Blue Jackets forward prospect Jordan Dumais has been suspended by the QMJHL today.
While we are still waiting for an official announcement, it appears as though this could be a very serious problem for the prospect. This is not just a regular suspension. Reportedly, Dumais was arrested for a DUI late last month and now the incident has caught up to him.
#CBJ prospect Jordan Dumais is listed as suspended in the QMJHL right now.
I'm hearing this could be a very serious case, and I've heard it could be a DUI.
Other reports have come out confirming the suspension, but many do not know why he has been suspended. This is likely because there have not been any on-ice incidents that Dumais has been involved in, giving more evidence to the fact that this is related to the DUI.
Be sure to stay tuned for updates on this rapidly evolving story.
