Kirby Dach was furious in the Canadiens last preseason game versus the Senators, and he snapped and went after the girlfriend of a Sens fan in the crowd.

A feisty moment saw Montreal Canadiens forward Kirby Dach go toe-to-toe in a tussle with Ottawa Senators player Ridly Greig during Tuesday night's preseason game. In the third, the frustration boiled over for Dach, who managed to land several punches while fighting. The game was chippy all night, but it seemed like Dach let a lot of the frustration that was building on the ice boil over.

The fight between Dach and Grieg finds its origin in a hit that happened during the first period. Greig caught Dach with a high, punishing hit to the jaw that sent the Canadiens' center to the locker room for evaluation. Luckily, Dach returned to start the second period, but the hit had clearly left its mark. Speaking to the media on Wednesday, Dach admitted to not having seen Greig coming and explained how that added to his intensity later in the game.

As the third unfolded and with the Senators ahead, Dach's frustration only continued to build. An interference penalty on Greig didn't help. When he came out of the penalty box, Dach looked for Greig, and this time he made sure he got his payback, pummeling the Senators forward. His emotions were running high, and it was clear he had reached his boiling point.

While Dach would later admit to losing his temper, he didn't discuss another moment that captured the attention of the fans. During the game, Dach could be seen yelling at a Senators fan in the stands, at one point even jokingly telling the fan's girlfriend to "call him,". It was just one more layer of intensity and drama on a game that was already spiraling out of control.

It was absolute chaos from the get-go, with physical altercations and controversy galore in the game between the Canadiens and Senators. Along with Kirby Dach's outburst, other teammates Jayden Struble and Michael Pezzetta took shots against Ridly Greig in the first period. And the biggest hit of the night came from defenseman Arber Xhekaj on Tim Stutzle. This was a preseason game most, at best, would like to forget, with tempers flaring both on the ice and in the stands. In all of this, the fan caught in Dach's tirade had little chance of escaping.
