Jacob Trouba was once again in the headlines after Tuesday's game with the Canadiens, and now he's been warned before the next meeting with Montreal.

Tuesday night's battle between the Montreal Canadiens and New York Rangers was very one-sided but at the end of the game that wasn't the talking point. Instead, it was the hit from captain Jacob Trouba on Montreal's Justin Barron, as the captain once more led with his elbow and hit an opposing player directly in the head, leading to Barron needing to be helped off the ice.

Head Coach Martin St. Louis has already sounded off on the hit, and now so has enforcer Arber Xhekaj, who was out of the lineup in this one, but promises to remember ahead of the next matchup between these teams.

«Seeing a hit like that, I didn't like it, and I know I probably would have done something if I was in the lineup or dealt with it, for sure, but we'll remember it, and we'll see what happens in the next game.»

These two teams will next meet at Madison Square Garden on November 30th, and after the brutal hit, it's safe to say that Xhekaj won't be holding back in that one. While he may go after Trouba, the Rangers also have an enforcer of their own in Matt Rempe who may look to even the odds against Xhekaj, so that one will be a must-watch.

Not everyone believed that the hit was an issue, as the likes of TSN's Darren Dreger called it a clean hit from Trouba, but seeing his teammate lying on the ice, it's no shock that Xhekaj wants his revenge, so tune in for that one in what should be a game of total chaos and carnage.
