Cody Glass is headed to Pittsburgh in a move that could shake up his career, and he wasted no time calling out his new fanbase.
The Pittsburgh Penguins have been making moves in recent days, and the latest move was to acquire former Nashville Predators forward Cody Glass, who has yet to find his role in the NHL.
The 25-year-old still has plenty of time to grow and develop, and with 187 NHL games under his belt, there is a belief that he could become a solid player in Pittsburgh. He's started his time off with the Penguins on the right foot too, as the winger was quick to call out a Pittsburgh fan who criticized the trade on Instagram.
In response to criticism that 'this guy is a scrub' and 'scrubs don't win anything', Glass, who had been announced less than an hour earlier responded with this;
dude give me a chance hahaha
It's clear that the 25-year-old feels he can contribute at the NHL level, and with good experience, size, and skill under his belt, if he finds the right role in Pittsburgh, this might turn out to be an absolute steal for Kyle Dubas and the front office.
