Jacob Trouba has another passion besides hockey, and that's art. He recently posted on social media that he opened up his first solo art exhibit this past week, which he has called "Landing My Mark", which involves his two greatest passions, hockey and art. All of his pieces of art are being sold for charity and one of his items are going to Hockey Fights Cancer later in the year.
Fans and art lovers can purchase up to nine different art works on his website https://jacobtroubaart.com, with each one costing $150 USD. The Rangers captain is also selling 108 large prints with his autograph on each one for $1,000 USD, as well as 208 signed medium pieces for $750 USD each.
It is always nice to see athletes enjoy doing things other than the sport they play, and what's even better about this is how Trouba is taking the money from this and helping various charities. Fans can keep their eyes out on all of Trouba's social media accounts for more information on upcoming charity events.
Jacob Trouba played in 69 games for the New York Rangers last season, scoring 3 goals and adding 19 assists for 22 points. He also added an additional 7 points in his team's 16 playoff games.
