During a game between the London Knights and the Kitchener Rangers in the OHL, Easton Cowan made history by scoring a point for a 28th consecutive game.

He beat the previous record held by Connor McDavid and Alex DeBrincat.

"Easton Cowan is unstoppable on the penalty kill 🥵

The @MapleLeafs prospect scores shorthanded to extend his point streak to 28 games, passing Connor McDavid and Alex DeBrincat for the second-longest this decade 📊"

Cowan has scored 80 points, including 30 goals, in just 46 games with the Knights. Drafted in the first round by the Leafs in 2023, he's showing he's more than ready for the big leagues. Everyone's eager to see him play in Toronto, whether it's with the Marlies or the Maple Leafs.

As the trade deadline looms, it's clear that Cowan, as one of Toronto's most promising prospects, is not on the table for trades. If he were to be traded, the return would have to be huge.
