Jake DeBrusk in danger: banned fan resurfaces
A fan who was banned from TD Garden in Boston has resurfaced, leading many fans to worry that new Canucks' forward Jake DeBrusk may be in danger.
Being famous isn't always a good thing, and Jake DeBrusk learned the hard way. While he was playing with the Bruins, a fan went over the top of the glass and tried to get to DeBrusk. TD Garden ended up banning her so that she wouldn't be able to get close to DeBrusk and his partner Mia.
Now that he is a member of the Canucks, the stalker fan, who is known as Jan, has posted on social media that she is making plans to go to Vancouver in the hope of reuniting with DeBrusk. Fans in Vancouver are beginning to fear for DeBrusk's safety.
Just a reminder you can like players but don't be overly obsessed. You've crossed a line at that point.
First Bo Bichette's Wife, now that DeBrusk stalker. 🤦🏼♀️ Anyways you can get help. I just hope that DeBrusk stalker doesn't make it past border security.
It is expected that NHL players will get a lot of attention due to their fame, however in situations like this, when it involves stalkers, more needs to be done to ensure player safety. Rogers Arena in Vancouver needs to ensure they take the necessary steps and ban this from from attending.
Some lady has been harassing Debrusk for years to the point where she was banned from TD Garden and talks daily on here about how she deserves to marry him and stuff and now she's trying to move to Vancouver to see him
This type of stalkerish behavior is childish, and no adult should be acting that way. Let's hope that this woman gets the psychiatric help she needs and that DeBrusk remains safe in his new Vancouver home.
