Tonight another heavyweight matchup occurred in the hockey world when enforcers Ryan Reaves and Nic Deslauriers decided to drop their gloves. The fight would give hockey fans instant and fantastic entertainment.

Just 5 minutes into the Toronto Maple Leafs game against the Philadelphia Flyers Ryan Reaves and Nic Deslauriers were looking to gain momentum for their team. The two found themselves on the ice against one another and decided to go at it in a major fight.
Deslauriers would control most of the fight taking down Reaves in convincing fashion and shifting momentum his team's way in the process.
As a result of the brutal fight, Ryan Reaves needed to receive medical attention. He sustained an injury to his eye that ended up with his eye being swollen shut.

Reaves has been on a streak when it comes to fights lately. This marks his second fight in a month the first of which was a convincing win against New York Ranger Matt Rempe. As the postseason begins it will be fun to see if Reaves continues his fighting ways into playoff hockey.
