BREAKING: Nathan MacKinnon Leaves Game Early After Falling Face First Into The ice
The Avalanche fell to the Florida Panthers 4-0 today. However, that is not the key concern for Avalanche fans.
MacKinnon Leaves Game Early With Scary Injury
The Superstar center was around the net in the offensive zone when he fell awkwardly, landing face-first on the ice. Following the play he immediately went to the team's locker room to get looked at.
Nathan Mackinnon has gone to the room for repairs after going face first into the ice. 😬
It was later confirmed that he would not return to the game.
Sadly #NathanMacKinnon will not be returning to the ice after tripping over the net and cutting his chin. #GoAvsGo
Hopefully this injury is not too serious. The Avalanche have been struggling lately and losing a player of MacKinnon's caliber would be an unreplaceable loss for the team.
