After it was announced today that Washington Capitals captain Alexander Ovechkin tested positive for COVID-19 and had to drop out of the All-star game, we've been wondering who would be replacing him. Well, it has now been announced that his replacement will be fellow Capital Tom Wilson!
Wilson is having a very good season on the top line with Ovechkin and Kuznetsov. He currently has 13 goals, 31 points in 42 games. He has also really cleaned up his act when it comes to Penalties and fights and is on pace for a career low in Penalty minutes.
What do you think, how will Tom Wilson do at the All-star game?
