Last night we watched two teams who are supposed to be at opposite ends of the standings battle, and well, the team thats supposed to be at the bottom of the standings surprisingly won.
The Arizona Coyotes jumped out to an early 2-0 lead over the Toronto Maple Leafs, before the Leafs scored two goals in under 30 seconds to tie the game. The Coyotes the pulled ahead by 1 and in the final minute with the goalie pulled, the Maple Leafs thought they tied the game, but a controversial review deemed a 'no goal' and the Leafs ended up losing the game 4-2.
After the game the Arizona Coyotes took to social media to poke fun at the Maple Leafs.
Since October 17 2002, the Arizona Coyotes have gotten atleast a point in EVERY single game they've played against the Toronto Maple Leafs. 20 years of this, thats incredible!
