BREAKING: Florida Cuts Spencer Knight
In breaking news, the Florida Panthers have made a surprising decision to cut Spencer Knight.
Flordia Panthers Send Spencer Knight Down on Waivers
As reported by Cap Friendly, the Florida Panthers have sent down goaltender Spencer Knight. Knight is on a one-way contract with the Panthers, however, he bypassed waivers and now will play in the AHL.
The Panthers will rely on Sergei Bobrovsky as their starting goaltender this season, with Anthony Stolarz backing him up. However, if Knight performs well in the minors, its highly likely we will see him make a return to the Panthers lineup at some point this year.
