It's been three years since we received the horrible news that Chris Snow was diagnosed with ALS. At the time he was given a year to live, but here we are 3 years later and he is still battling. The man is a true hockey player, he is a fighter, and his whole hockey family is behind him. He is truly an inspiration to us all.
Today, his wife Kelsie shared the awful news that Chris had been admitted to the hospital yesterday after things got bad for him over night, and he was forced to be put on a ventilator:
Yesterday Chris was admitted to hospital. He was doing great when kids & I left at 8 pm. Overnight he took a turn for the worse and had to be put on a ventilator. Now we wait to see if he will get better. We are very sad and very scared. Hug your people. Life is so tenuous.
Despite battling this disease, he has continued to work with the Flames. Chris you are truly an inspiration to us all.
Incase you missed the magical moment at this past 2022 NHL Awards, Chris was brought on stage with his whole family to hand out an award, where he received a standing ovation.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Chris and his family at this time.
