BREAKING: NHL Department of Player Safety announces HEARING after vicious two-hand slash

As of late, there has not been too much for the Department of Player Safety to have to deal with, that is until last night.
During a game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and LA Kings, which the Maple Leafs won 5-0, one Maple Leafs forward making a reckless play by swinging his stick as an opponent, catching him in the back of the head.
Pierre Engvall and Sean Durzi were engaged in a battle, and when Durzi turned, Engvall lost his cool and brought his stick down hard, hitting Durzi in the back of his head, which caused Durzi to immediately drop to the ice in pain.
So as a result of this play, he will have a hearing today with player safety:
