BREAKING NEWS: Huge announcement on Auston Matthews injury
The leagues leading goal scorer Auston Matthews has missed the last three Maple Leafs games with an 'undisclosed injury'. The Leafs went 2-1-0 in those three games, but the last game they got absolutely annihilated by the Tampa Bay Lightning 8-1.
This was an important game as it could possibly be the first round matchup for the Maple Leafs, and judging from what we saw in that game, it's going to be quite the matchup at that!
Tonight the Toronto Maple Leafs play against the Florida Panthers who are currently on a 12 game winning streak and currently ontop the league standings. The good news for Leafs fans though is Auston Matthew is expected to make his return tonight.

Matthews has been out since April 16th after a game against the Ottawa Senators, and from the get-go of the injury, head coach Sheldon Keefe stated it was a minor injury and if this were the playoffs he would be playing. Well, it seems like the injury is healed and Matthews is good to go to take on his division rival tonight!
