The Chicago Blackhawks 2023-24 season is all about Connor Bedard, but to give him the best chance to succeed, the team need veteran names around him, making this latest news even harder to take.
A major setback
Early in their season, the Blackhawks lost veteran winger Taylor Hall to a shoulder injury, but now, it appears his woes are not done, as his return to the ice is now delayed again.
After a quick recovery time, Hall has now re-aggravated his shoulder injury, and will miss practice today as a result of it.
After investing so much money in him this summer to play alongside Bedard and give him the on-ice leadership and guidance that could be crucial to his development, this latest set back is a tough pill to swallow, and now, the team will be sweating it out as they wait for him to get back to 100%.
