While fighting in the NHL and its associated leagues continues to become more and more of a thing of the past, occasionally we are still treated to an old-fashioned tilt. Today we got one as AHL players Boko Imama and Tyler Bauer dropped the gloves for an epic fight.

The fight took place this afternoon as the Belleville Senators took on the Manitoba Moose. Imama and Bauer did not fail to put on a show as the two combined for one of the most intense fights we have seen in some time. The Belleville Senators instantly recognized the tilt as a candidate for fight of the year.

Afterwards, the two players seemed to have resolved their differences as they showed respect to each other following the tilt. All told, this is certainly one of the best fights in North American hockey we have seen this year, if not the best.
