Tom Wilson answered the call to defend his teammate after a nasty hit by an Ottawa Senators enforcer.
Wilson Fights Senators Enforcer After Dirty Hit
Tom Wilson stepped near the end of the second period of the Capitals and Senators game to defend his teammate. Capitals defenseman Rasmus Sandin took a dirty hit along the boards from Senators forward Mark Kastelic.
Immediately Wilson came to the aid of his teammate and challenged Mark Kastelic to a fight. The two dropped the gloves and engaged in one of the best fights of the year. Both players got some good punches in until the referees separated them.
Mark Kastelic collides with Rasmus Sandin in the corner, and Tom Wilson makes him answer for it.
They dance for a bit.

The Senators are up in the game 5-1 but Tom Wilson is now close to a personal milestone. Wilson got an assist earlier in the game and is now just a goal away from a Gordie Howe hat trick. The Capitals will look to set the tone in the third period and make a comeback with the help of Wilson.
