BREAKING: Two Key Boston Bruins Forwards Out Due To Injury
The Boston Bruins have been on a roll to start the season despite losing several players during the offseason. Unfortunately, the team announced they have lost two more players for the foreseeable future.
Bruins Have Multiple Key Forwards Out Due To Injury
Earlier today it was announced by Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery that forwards Milan Lucic and Jakub Lauko will be out of the lineup. Both players are dealing with injuries.
Montgomery said that Milan Lucic will be out for a couple of weeks with a lower-body injury.
Lauko out for a week, he has a fracture, along with letting the swelling go down.
While both players have different timetables their absence will be felt immediately. The Bruins forward group was already thin to begin with and this will continue to thin out the group.
Jesper Boqvist was called up from the AHL and will likely see ice time in the absence of Lucic and Lauko. The Bruins will play the Anaheim Ducks tonight at 7 p.m.
