There has been speculation regarding former NHL coach Joel Quenneville returning to coaching next season.
The 3-time Stanley Cup winner resigned as the Florida Panthers coach in October after specifics emerged regarding the Chicago Blackhawks handling of allegations a player had been sexually abused by an assistant coach while Quenneville was head coach of Chicago in 2010.
NHL commissioner Gary Bettman addressed the speculation last night.
Quenneville has the second-most wins of an NHL coach, with 969 victories.
