Bobby Ryan after being released from a PTO has not been signed by any NHL teams this year. He was to represent Team USA at the Spengler Cup, which ended up being cancelled, stranding him in Europe, where he had to spend Christmas alone.
But he did still have some hope to continue playing hockey after this, representing Team USA at the upcoming Olympics now that the NHL player would not be attending. But sadly, after reading this tweet from former Senators/Stars defenceman Marc Methot, it does not look like that is an option for Bobby now either.
Do you think his career is done? Or will be get another shot with an NHL team?
